NBMCAA Celebrates Independence Day with Prerana Educational Centre

Siliguri, August 15, 2025 – The North Bengal Medical College Alumni Association (NBMCAA) celebrated Independence Day this year with the students, teachers, parents, guardians, and caregivers of Prerana Educational Centre, Siliguri.The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem. A vibrant cultural program themed on patriotism and national independence was presented by the differently abled students of the centre, under the dedicated supervision and guidance of their teachers and trainers. Each performance showcased exceptional talent and heartfelt expression.

Led by Dr. Jayanta Das, Secretary of NBMCAA, the association’s representatives presented white canes to the visually impaired students, reinforcing their commitment to inclusive support. The Principal of Prerana Educational Centre commended the relentless efforts of the teachers and staff in making the celebration memorable.

The event was graced by distinguished guests from the medical fraternity, armed forces, and government services. The celebration concluded on a high note, marking it as a resounding success and a testament to the spirit of unity, inclusion, and national pride.
