There shall be 3 types of members:
i) Life Member: Any person being eligible for membership can be enrolled as and Life Member on payment of life membership subscription in advance, amount as fixed by the Executive Committee and amended time to time. Life membership is valid for the rest of the life of the said registered member.
ii) Associate Life Member: Any person who passed M.D. or M.S. or Diplomas in any subject (and not M.B.B.S) from the North Bengali Medical College can be enrolled as Associate Life member on payment of membership subscription in advance, amount as fixed by the Executive Committee and amended time to time. Associate life membership is valid for the rest of the life of the said registered member.
iii) Honorary Member: Any eminent doctors, or any teachers of North Bengali Medical College or any ex-teachers of North Bengali Medical College whose connection with association is deemed desirable, may, with his/ her consent be bestowed with honorary membership of the Association. The decision should be taken in General body meeting of the Association provided that not less than two third of the members voting, vote for him/her. The number of honorary members should never be more than one tenth of the life member of the Association in any given point of time. Honorary members can never be charged any membership fee.
