It is with immense pride and heartfelt gratitude that we announce the formal establishment of the North Bengal Medical College Alumni Association (NBMCAA) — a long-awaited and much-needed unified platform for all former students of our cherished alma mater.
Founded 57 years ago, North Bengal Medical College has shaped the lives and careers of countless individuals, nurturing generations of doctors who have gone on to serve with distinction across India and the world. Although the official formation of this association is recent, it stands firmly on the foundation laid by dedicated alumni over the decades — those who kept the NBMC spirit alive through localised groups, reunions, and shared memories. We extend our gratitude to them for their invaluable contributions.
The NBMCAA now brings all such efforts under one inclusive, enduring umbrella with global reach. It aims to foster a sense of belonging, encourage mentorship, support collaboration, and strengthen our collective bond — among alumni and also with current students and the institution that unites us all.
